"When it was first released in Cookie Run: OvenBreak, Mala Tribe was similar to basic depictions of Vikings in media. It has a horned helmet motif in its architecture, and in actual clothing. Most notably, Mala Sauce Cookie herself wears one. Also in its architecture, some buildings are similar to Viking longhouses, particularly in the roof.
The Cookie Run: Kingdom Decoration Theme, Mala Tribe’s Turf, seems to take inspiration from historical Viking encampments. The Hot & Spicy Arsenal decor, as well as the Chieftain's Tent decor, may be based off Viking a-frame tents. The dragon-tipped tent frames are reminiscent of animal-tipped tent frames used in the era. Striped cloth was also common in traditional tents.
